4-H Volunteer Leader Training |
Volunteer Self-Evaluation
The Washington State 4-H Youth Development Program is interested in adult development, as well as youth development. Therefore, we encourage adult 4-H volunteers to set goals for their own development at the beginning of each 4-H year and to do some kind of evaluation at the end of that year.
Volunteer Management Certificate Program
The Volunteer Management Certificate Program (VMCP) is a four-course online training program that focuses on practical real-life learning exercise and provides "basic training" for managers of volunteers in the following key areas:
- Recruiting
- Training
- Supervision
- Evaluation and recognition
The certificate program offers an economical alternative to other learning formats such as conferences, workshops, and classroom instruction.
