What is the Mobile Technology Lab?
Through a grant funds provided by the USDA/Army Youth Development Project, the Washington State Extension 4-H Program is partnering with the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, the Washington State National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve to participate in Operation Military Kids. The mission of this program is to create replicable and sustainable support networks for geopgraphically dispersed military youth in schools and communities before, during, and after the deployment of a parent or loved one.
Operation Military Kids project goals include providing community-based outreach activities geared to raise awareness and provide support for military kids and their families. One way of reaching this goal is through the Mobile Technology Lab.
The Mobile Technology Lab includes:
- 15 - Dell Latitude laptop wireless computers

- 1 - Dell laser printer (B&W)
- 1 - scanner
- 1 - personal laminator
- 15 - Planktronics headphones
- 1 - Canon digital video camera
- 4 - Canon digital cameras
- 1 - wireless access point
